This year’s event will focus on creating care packages designed to bring comfort and hope to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. Community members are encouraged to participate by donating items before the event or bringing a donation item as their entry to the event.
Items being collected include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chocolates, hard candy, journals, books, Dude or Lume wipes, water bottles, and gift cards for gas or groceries. Financial donations may also be made payable to PWC Ripon/GL. Donations may be dropped off at Divine Passage Funeral Home prior to the event.
During the October 15 gathering, attendees will have the opportunity to help assemble the care packages while enjoying refreshments and connecting with others in the community. All attendees are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness and those whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
