Artificial Intelligence (AI) 101 with Jennifer Ruetten, Dir-IT for Winnebago County
Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we live and work — but what does that really mean for YOU?
Join the Professional Women’s Connection (PWC) as we welcome our very own Jennifer Ruetten, Director of Information Technology for Winnebago County, for an engaging and real conversation on AI.
- The good
- The bad
- The ugly
- And how to make it work for YOU — both personally and professionally
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a trusted leader in our community and walk away with practical insights you can actually use.
About our Speaker
Jennifer Ruetten has been employed with Winnebago County since 1999. She started as a Finance intern, moved over to Information Technology as a telecommunications assistant and worked her way up through user support and networking to a supervisor and then Director of Information Technology in 2024. I.T. is a 19-person department supporting about 1,300 users, 41 miles of private fiber, and 26 network connected buildings. She is a member of Government Information Processing Association of Wisconsin (GIPAW), Women in Technology Wisconsin (WiT), and Professional Women's Connection Oshkosh Chapter (PWC). She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from UW Oshkosh and is a graduate of Leadership Oshkosh Class of 2024. Through the Professional Development Academy, she earned the "Leading AI Master Certificate" in December 2024 and was recently selected to participate in the Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG) Leadership Seminar. She is also an entrepreneur with her husband as they own a small event venue called Copper Hall in Downtown Oshkosh and we have two daughters (a junior at UW Parkside and a senior at Oshkosh West High School).
